When paying for certain services by credit card, a verification charge may be applied to authorise your card for the amount due before the actual funds are taken.
This authorisation will appear as a pending charge on your bank statement, but no funds are actually taken at this stage. The charge will disappear within a few business days.
If the authorisation doesn't disappear after 5 business days, please contact your bank for further information.
